Well, how do they know? Miles&More just asked for a screenshot or photo of the membership card showing the status. Not the account history or recent transactions?
EuroBonus seems to be more diligent and wants to see the account to be active for more than 3 months and that the status was earned, not matched. Which I think, is fair enough.
