The Hotel runs a shuttle to Hoi An a few times a day, but it isn't free. You can take a Grab any time you want for less than USD 10. Grab also has an option to hire a driver for a set amount of time. The driver won't speak English, but the hotel employees would happily speak to him regarding wherever you'd like to go.
In addition to hiring a Grab driver for a set amount of time which should not be too expensive, you can take a taxi (Vinasun aka Taxi Green or Mai Linh) from the hotel to downtown Hoi An and it's very reasonable. Hoi An is a walkable city anyway so once you get there, just wander around.
To solve the problem the driver not speaking English and you not speaking Vietnamese, use an app like Google Translate and speak to your phone in English and show the phone to the driver to read Vietnamese - I have been using Google Translate everywhere (Japan, Thailand, Italy, Germany, Korea, Brazil, Spain, etc.) and it works like a charm
