In the town of Franschhoek, you definitely can’t go wrong with La Residence but it is slightly too far to walk to the downtown at night and you probably would not be comfortable doing so in the dark. They can drive you back and forth whenever you want. It takes < 5 minutes.



In the downtown, I like La Quartier Francais and Leeu House. Le Cle is very nice but I think it might be a little harder to find a situation where both couples get the exact same room. It is in the downtown area as well.



I am also a fan of Babylonstoren and excited about the recently renovated Delaire Graaff. I have not stayed since the renovation was completed.



Ozzy Yerlikaya is a good starting point for the touring and transfers. He runs a very high end outfit so expect pricing around $1000 per day for touring. I suggest you book Menzies on arrival at Cape Town. Although they can’t fast track you in Cape Town it is a nice service to help bring you through immigrations and customs. I consider Ozzy a good friend:
