I certainly see the appeal of allowing limited rollover as a way to smooth out year to year travel fluctuations, but I can also see that AS might prefer that I get my butt on a plane if I’m in danger of coming up short. Some sort of milestone awards past 100k may be in order, but 150% mileage accrual is a decent incentive already. Maybe long haul upgrade certificates after the merger?
