As a data point - I submitted my form at around 2200 last night and received no email. There was one waiting for me this morning that had been sent around ten hours later. I have now sent off the required material for confirmation. All quite painless.
As a further note, When i created a new Eurobonus account (never had one before), I remembered that I had taken an SAS flight just over a week ago which hadn't been credited anywhere. I submitted for Missing Points and was immediately credited with the flight. I wish BA's IT was only that efficient.
That's generous of SAS, some airlines don't let you credit miles that you flown before you became a member.
I got mine finally with an instant match - out of the 20+ I sent in, I got 4 email back, one was an approval and the other 3 were duplicates of my applications. I sent in a bunch for Mr. and he only got one email telling him to reply with info, I replied to the email with all the required information and heard from them since. Then I signed my kids up using chrome one after another and nothing happened. I did it again one after one with Safari on iphone and it didn't seem to work. So I tested with using a different browser for each of them and a few hours later I got instant match for all of them. None of them got the duplicated application email.
