For those of us without significant business card spend, $50k can be a significant part of our overall credit card use, I question if MVP benefits are sufficient to justify such spend. AS BofA cards are about the worst when it comes to bonus categories, I would argue that maximizing spend on other cards will provide much greater value. Nerdwallet currently values MVP status at $830, one can easily earn $1k - $3k using bonus categories for gas, restaurants and supermarkets, using no-fee and low-fee cards.
Valid point Diver, I do spend more as I put my business expenses on there. So when I hit $50k in February the Alaska Visa had no value to me for the rest of the year so switched all my charges back to the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
