^ agreed in full. D gates are super quick at parking upon landing on the 28s. Would have never made my 12 minute "connection" from low D gate to high F gate otherwise back in March, in the middle of runway construction no less.

Dunno what kind of financials are in play, but AS wanted to be closer to AA.
