How much do you spend to get MVP (or near MVPG)? That $5000 for Delta Silver really sucks, and your chances of even C+ is pretty limited. Their credit card offerings are more expensive too (assuming you have the Alaska card for the BOGO). I do prefer the Delta travel experience, but haven't set foot on their planes this year due to cost compared to OneWorld for my routes.
