I stayed at this property many times from opening until about May 2022. It is a typical Hyatt Place. The rooms are Hyatt Place rooms and the breakfast is a Hyatt Place breakfast. Can't say more on that score.

The area is safe and walkable. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance, including steakhouses, cocktail bars, brewpubs, etc. Downtown COS can be lively in the summer. Ample parking either in the hotel garage or on the street.

I mention only as a fact that there are plenty of homeless in the area and it does not matter the time of year. I never felt threatened at all.
