This thread seems a little negative so I will say my experiences with GHA have been nothing but great especially for how easy it is to achieve Titanium.

I stayed at the Capella Tufu Bay in Sanya, China recently and received a triple upgrade from a base room Garden View room to a nice Junior Suite. This represents a triple upgrade and a cost premium of almost $300 per night over the base room. While I wasn't given one preemptively, I asked at check-in for an upgrade and one was given.

Additionally, staying at the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites in Jakarta netted me their largest room (a 2 bedroom corner suite from the base one bedroom suite) which is something like a 5 category upgrade. This was given proactively.

This may be an indication that like other hotel elite statuses, Titanium goes much further in Asia than in the rest of the world. I haven't stayed at any GHA hotels anywhere else.
