We also had breakfast - it was very varied and rich, we never had to wait to be accommodated, there were always places in the morning. There are two restaurants, we tried both - they are excellent. One is a buffet (where they also serve breakfast), the other is a more expensive seaside restaurant with outdoor seating - I recommend it.
The hotel itself is located about a kilometer and a half from the center of Giardini Naxos - walking distance. There are many restaurants and bars both in the city center and around the hotel.
We had a rental car - there is also a parking lot that belongs to the hotel and is located about 200 meters from the entrance and costs 18 euros per day.
Thanks for the report!
I think this hotel has bounced around flags at one point being a Ramada and then a Hilton or vice-versa. Although the rooms don't appear to be recently renovated, they do appear clean and luxuriously appointed.
It is nice that they gave you access to that type of lounge -- the photo of hors d'oeuvres? was that put out for the evening, as your post implies that one takes breakfast in a restaurant even if you have access to the lounge. Is this correct?
