I usually aim for a round hour in the lounge, hopeful of a drink at the bar while deciding on food and then a meal. Hopefully not an unrealistic expectation.

Qantas lounges I’ve never had an issue with - great service and good.

The CCR I used to find 1h wasn’t enough for a drink at the bar and then a meal, but as of the last year things have settled down.

Cathay LHR T3 F lounge is everything from fast to fawlty towers mainly due to the staff dithering and not paying the slightest attention to what you’re saying.

The Chelsea lounge is the worst offender though - it seems to so often be in meltdown that 1 hour is barely enough to eat your main. I think I’ve only made it to dessert once!
