I have not posted the menu as others have already done so.
BA 207 LHR - MIA
Preflight Champagne was served with no stinting.
I went and asked if they had any other nibbles than those revolting mixed nuts. The Purser brought me the salt and vinegar pretzels and laid them out in a plate. They went down a treat with the ice cold Canard-Duchêne.
We both started with the Poached Prawns which we found delicious. We followed it with the Chicken which was tender and not dry at all. I then had the cheese. I could not eat another thing. Indeed the tea was quite pleasant and was as much as either of us wanted to eat. All in all I think that the quality is improving. I was not over impressed with the selection of red wines at all. However that is purely personal taste and we both enjoyed what we were served.
The Welcome Aboard Champagne. They may have had water and orange juice but they were of no interest to me
Apéritif and Salt and Vinegar Prestels
Poached Prawns
Chicken stuffed with mushroom and kale. Pure comfort food served with mashed potatoes and a jus. Most tasty and very filling.
Tea time. Prettily served and again more than enough for me.
