Back in November, my daughter had a 50 minutes connection at HND en route from SIN to ORD. She booked those flights on a single ticket/PNR via AA. It was sold as a legal connection. She was nervous about it and tried to change to a three hours earlier flight from SIN to HND; they wouldn't let her. Her flight from SIN arrived in Tokyo at a hard stand, not a standard gate, 20 minutes late. Even though she was seated at the front of the plane and was the first person off, she had to wait for other passengers to fill the bus before it left for the terminal. She then had to go through security. She made it to the departure gate a few minutes before they started boarding her flight to Chicago which left on time.
