Just GUESSING here, but Flagship CHECK-IN is limited to First INTL, CK and EXP AA and non-AA/AS OWE members (any cabin.) Not sure here, but I believe AA PPRO are NOT allowed to use this in J or Y, even though they are OWE status. If correct, not allowing 75K AS (OWE) memebers (but only 100K AS members -also OWE) would be in sync with the AA program. But I always have to argue my way in at ORD if flying ORD-JFK-LHR with the TATL segment in F. I was last told "only CK can use this check-in" by the contract agent - inside agents of course allowed me in when contract agent asked them.

EDIT: AA PPRO Can indeed use Flagship checkin as TWA884 pointed out below. So I have to agree with skunker that the exclusion for AS 75k/OWE seems a bit arbitrary. I suppose AA could argue all elite levels can use the priority queues and Flagship check-in in something special akin to the Cherlsa lounge at JFK or the BA CCR, but it would seem that would be a stretch. In any event, it it clear they are doing so by AA policy.
