The revised timing is a more complex one. There is the case WZ v Austrian, which relates to landing at the "wrong" airport and time involved, and in essence that said that the time the passenger takes to get from the "wrong" airport to the "right" airport can be added for delay counting purposes. But this is in respect of departure and for delay reasons, your situation is arrrival and cancellation. I would certainly claim for cancellation, it's possible BA will refuse it, so it would need CEDR to resolve. I can't say for sure that you would win, but I think you have a good chance of being successful.
Thank you
