Thanks for the info. It is pretty much what I thought. With regards to the evening versus the earlier flight. I am coming from IAD via UA, so I will have an early AM arrival and the connection to the earlier flights will be more practical. It will be an overnight flight for me as I likely be tired and sleep a good bit of the way. The overnight flights are actually timed very well for sleep and arrival into BKK for sure though. I would prefer to do LHR-BKK but it is about $300 extra for that flight versus the FRA-BKK flight (this is a one way booking in J), so if no real practical difference, then might as well go with the cheaper flight. The seats look the same, just the screens look older, is that right?
