CX redemption on JAL - link lap child?
Hi - I redeemed two business class tickets using CX points on JAL from Tokyo to Hong Kong. I called up JAL and purchased a seperate infant lap child ticket for 10% of ticket price (under 1yo at time of flying).
Now JAL is telling me I need to call back CX to link the lap child ticket to my adult ticket. When I called CX, they are saying this is something JAL needs to do. Currently being ping ponged back and forths..
Any advice on this? Do I actually need to link the tickets?
Side note: currently both sides saying bassinet seats are unable to be booked - not sure if it is because the tickets havent been linked and therefore no option for them to book it.. Currently booked into the seat next to it..
