Flying to Vietnam next week, and chose a slightly worse schedule on Xiamen Airlines just to avoid this. I guess I could use my AA Plat, but I'm almost to 2million MQMs on Delta....
I had no issues obtaining Flying Blue benefits on CZ when I flew at the end of last year/early this year. CZ recognises the status of many Skyteam members (as it was formerly ST), but I do not know about DL though. Only unfortunate thing for us in Flying Blue, is that CZ no longer earns XP towards status unless it's part of a ST codeshare.
