Here now. We used NUAs and were upgraded to a suite with plunge pool, only to be told those rooms were out of commission when we arrived due to construction and the NUAs would be returned. We were given a Panoramic View Room on 11 (out of 14) and a certificate for a free beach Cabana for our first day (yesterday). What a scam, we loved it so much we had to pay for it again for today. Lunch from the nearby restaurant was excellent reasonable.

breakfast is as mentioned, free for continental, $10 upgrade for bacon, sausage, fried plantains, fresh waffles and omelettes, etc. what they don’t tell you is there is a woman outside making fresh quesadillas to order near the outside seating, which is a must do. I mean, she even makes the tortillas for each order! There are biting noseeums at the outdoor seating so we moved indoors for day 2.
