Trying to get help for hacked Hilton Honors Account
Last week I received an email from Hilton Customer Feedback thanking me for contacting Hilton Customer Service and asking me to fill out a survey as to whether they resolved my issue. Problem is, I had not contacted Hilton Customer Service. I noticed this email about 45 minutes after it was received and immediately tried to access my Hilton Honors account. Nope -- password no longer worked. After calling the customer service phone number and being transferred to two different people, I was told that my email and phone number for the account were recently changed. They shared that they could not help me, and I could email HHFraudProtection for assistance.
So, I've done that. But after a week, I've still heard nothing back. Does anyone have any ideas for how I can get help? I had about 900,000 points that I assume have been taken by now, and have no access to my booked trips, of which i had about 5 pending that were rewards travel. Kind of frustrating that email and phone could be changed, as I had 2FA on and did not receive any other messages from Hilton.
