This was the ORD to MEX flight on 737 Max 8 Premier Classe. I have to say that the Premier Classe service was not as I expected.

I fly quite a bit United and it's hit or miss there. This is my only personal data point as it was my first time to fly AM, but AM service on this flight was equivalent to a miss at United.

This is a scheduled 4.5 hour flight. Food was given at the 1 hour mark, trays collected shortly after, and then FAs went to the front, closed the curtains and didn't come out until it was time to prepare the cabin for landing.

No drink refills. No additional water. Our empty drink glasses were not collected.

The food was not bad however. I did found it amusing that there was butter on a ramekin, but no bread provided. Pic of the tortellini attached:
You might find this type of service on various Latin American carriers - if you want service during non-service periods, use the call bell or go to the galley. It is just how it is. Some AM crews are better than other with an occasional cabin pass-thru. And some crew will gladly serve you when you ring the bell, and others will serve you, non-gladly.
