I searched in the early morning. There were more dates with XN availability. I snapped a 13.5K one, which might be cancelled eventually (by myself if not by UA). I was not able to find any XN in May, however.
If one has enough miles for J, 80K miles award (in JN) is not a bad deal because it offers the flexibility for same-day change. But I do not have enough miles for J award, unfortunately.
