That said, nobody says that you have to fly anywhere for your holiday. Indeed if my back was painful to fly with, I wouldn't be wanting to fly anywhere.
Two week consecutive holiday used to be a requirement for UK front office banking roles, and may still be.
OP, depends where you are going but other option could be a cruise?
