Before today, if you have a free schedule change, it won't let you reprice until you use up your two free online schedule changes. Today, any free schedule changes older than 15 days won't have the online option anymore so you can reprice or get tricked into paying more when you actually have a free change. This was the way free schedule changes used to work a few years ago where the online option disappeared after a few days.
If the flight in question by the OP has no free schedule change, I have no idea then.
Oh no! I didn't realize they made this change. I made a reservation for a family member with points and the flight got changed to a time they can not make. (I am still waiting for them to get back to me on which option will have the least impact on the trip.) The change was was issued on the 20th of June (15 days ago). I just checked and it looks like everything requires many more points now. I tried the regular generic change flight and also (

Is calling the only way to get the flight changed for the same number of points at this point?
