But generally, the program seems weaker than the old one. There are more tiers, and they require more spend to earn. There is now
only one airline partner (Cathay), and it seems to require you to convert your Brilliant points to Cathay miles, whereas the previous program partnered with more than a dozen airline and gave 500 to 1,500 guaranteed airline miles per stay.
