A restaurant is different than an airport lounge. Delta’s food caters are all licensed, but still managed to load black mold chicken earlier this week. A lot of the food for airport lounges are made in advance (family member is a corporate food director for a NYC law firm as the company also has some Centurion Lounge contracts), as mussels are dish that that can’t be made in advance. If Delta is guaranteeing a 3 course meal in 1 hour, all of the food is made in advance. I’ll save the mussels for my arrival in Europe rather than the Delta One lounge. BTW is the Delta One lounge still serving rotisserie chicken after the black mold incident?
