Each parent has to make his or her own responsible choices, dave79, but I hope that after reading this thread you will come to the realization that while the car seat might still be useful in the automotive context, it would be counter-productive on an aircraft. Please don't make your daughter suffer through that. 🙏

Isn't this for seats that are at a slight angle, not facing directly fore or aft?
