Bali is now so heavily overtouristed, I'm not sure it's worth it. Traffic is awful and lodging prices (at least for western properties) are way out of line with local prices.
I am presently there and there are way too many people on the island. It's no longer enjoyable. I should have stick to my last year's decision not to go back.
The number of travelers from the sub-continent will also keep increasing. and that's a large potential of people.
