Sorry, should have explained. I will buy about 500,000 Aeroplan points now (for about $5700). In December I will buy a flightpass for approximately $6250 using my chase aeroplan card and will then use the pay yourself back feature to redeem the 500,000 points at 1.25 cents per point to cover the cost of the flightpass. Will get aeroplan points (about 40,000), SQM (about 30,000) and SQD on all the flights, and aeroplan points from chase on the purchase of the points and purchase of the flightpass (about 20,000) and will be roughly $10,000 closer to the status bump from Chase.
The only reason the flightpass is pertinent is because it is something that I know for sure that I will be buying this year while pay yourself back is still in effect, so I am certain that i will get 1.25 cents for the aeroplan points
