Thank you Kacee, for this insightful heads up. I need to seriously heed this and rethink my travel plans for January, 2025. I toured Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chachoengsao, Kanchanaburi and Phuket), and Cambodia (Angkor Wat) earlier this year in February. I have nearly 3 weeks on hand from Jan 10 to 31 to tour South East Asia. I am thinking of Bali, Vietnam and Sri Lanka (this may be somewhat of an outlier considering the economic chaos and resultant frequent unrest/protests and may be violence (?) there) to visit. I have been to major cities in India few years ago, but thinking of adding Goa for above mentioned trip. Any suggestions? Thank you.
