Their “old system” is the 1990s built DLTerm that can basically handle anything but from what I’ve been told, it involves more manual and hands on approach in order to know how to use it. The “new system” is their automated SNAPP system that automates much of the ticketing process but is limited in functionality and won’t work in some complicated ticketing situations/issues and DLTerm will need to be used instead.
There is not one day that goes by in which I do not fall back onto Deltaterm due to lag or other issues with the new software. It’s always there, it always works and it’s always immediate.
