On this flight, meals came out at the same time. All meals did receive their meals in courses… but entrees then came not 10 minutes later. Korean meals were given a roll from the Western bread basket.

This Korean meal was BAD. The meat was tough with lots of fat. I was hoping it would be more like bulgogi; served with ssamjang (soybean paste). It was not that. There was no real taste of anything Asian at all. Given Seoul is a Do&Co station, I had hoped for better. The banchan and sides were good; as a Korean, the kimchi again passed the test for me. I appreciated the squid with sweet chili; they are very chewy and served cold and dried. Again, definitely an acquired Korean taste.

Sundaes were good again.

Mid-flight snack was the Fried Spicy Chicken and Pork Dumpling. This isn’t great. The fried chicken is not crispy at all; reminds me of reheated Panda Express. The dumplings tasted exactly like Bibigo dumplings (an admittedly decent Korean frozen dumpling brand), but still not great.

Pre-flight meal was the Korean noodle soup. It’s like a warm bowl of rich chicken noodle soup. Delicious. Probably Delta’s attempt at kalguksu - knife-cut noodle soup. Probably best dish of both outbound and return.

D1 snack basket was almost all Korean snacks.

Also, found the almost mythical Glenfarclas® 12 Year Single Malt Scotch. Purser said she’s never had anyone ask for it!

Good and friendly service once again.
