To be fair it was a bit of a culture shock for me when I switched to BA from VS, who let you buy extra lounge passes for kids. But over time I've come to accept that BAs scale of business is very different and their lounges get a lot more busy.

Plus the kids are grown up now, can get their own status, and I don't want to have to have a bunch of screaming rugrats in the lounge with me.

(Double standards...? Surely not )
