Never driven a car on the left side and not planning.
In some countries with right hand side traffic where I didn't feel comfortable renting a car I have gotten car with the driver for 8 or 12 hours at the time.
Countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Costa Rica, Ukraine.
In countries like Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, England I always rent a car for a day with the drive or stick to the taxi/uber/public transportation.
Rented a car in:
USA
Puerto Rico
Canada
Germany
Poland
Luxembourg
Hungary
Slovakia
Czech Republic
Spain
Portugal
Jordan
Panama
Netherlands
Italy
Switzerland
That's what I can remember right now.
Switching road sides is less challenging than might be expected. The most difficult scenario I've found is moving from a narrow one-way to a two-way road. Otherwise, the road paint and flow of traffic largely takes care of your instincts. Reading and understanding the signage can be the bigger difficulty!
