Do you recall if the Y section had extra legroom in row 9-12? PAL website says they do and $70 per flight to purchase but no where in Wamos does it say that. Im flying MNL-SYD.

Did you notice is first row bulkhead noticably better legroom? Some airlines are, some arent.

Be mindful that the first 2-3-2 row, the in-flight entertainment screen is offset and looks uncomfortable to watch. Once settled in, it was clear this was going to be an uncomfortable flight. The Y seats have no headrest whatsoever. I'm 5'11 and my head extends above the standard hight. There is no headrest or "wings" to move to help rest your head on the night flight. The seats are very thin, with bad padding and while the recline is pretty standard, it was more comfortable being upright. I compare the hard product to a budget airline, absolutely not made for medium haul. the screen was ok, pretty basic with 33 movies in total and 20 TV programms (that's aprox. 5 episodes each of 4 different shows). the seat pocked is tiny and wouldn't fit my water bottle. The charging point was a USB A built into the scree with no plug socket. This makes charging modern phones tricky, as the USB gives off little power, think my phone took 7hr to charge from 16%. If your phone was dead flat it'll take ages to get it going. as for the rest of the flight, the cabin crew were very friendly, there were two deadhead PR crew onboard to Melbourne plus a PR Senior member on duty, however all announcements were made the Spanish crew. One thing I didn't like at all was the pilots never spoke, not once, I know that's not much but I like to hear about the route and local weather prior to decent.

soft product was standard PR Y. Drinks + hot meal (3 choice, chicken, beef or veg) done at the same time. Further drink run prior to tidy up and a snack box (hot beef sandwich before landing (plus drinks). Bathrooms were kept spotless throughout the flight by the crew.

In all, it's ok. It's set up for high density domestic. The soft product is to be expected as a customer of PR but I thought the Spanish crew were great.
