This morning, the app wasn't shown points prices for any hotels when I made one search. That might indicate that IHG was fiddling with settings in the backend. They are definitely testing how much devaluation IHG members can withstand.

IHG and Hilton members both earn 10 points per $ spend and now IHG points are similar value to Hilton points. Given that Hilton regularly runs double point promos, then the IHG rate of return on hotel spend is now the worst.
