Ditto. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, BA could save thousands and thousands if they offered decent wines in CCR / First. Instead, they serve £20-30 bottles which means everyone drinks the £200 champagne instead. Serve wines with equivalent Vivino ratings as the champagne (which you can get in the £100 range) and you’ll overnight cut costs.
All for BA serving better wines but serving £100 wine has little prospect of cutting costs. Lots of people will drink champagne in F, regardless of what wines are on offer.
