I know KSA is opening up for tourism. I was only once in JED and was denied a tourist visa for my wife to join back in the 90's, and about 10x in RUH in transit.
I'd much rather see resorts opening up on the Red Sea in Egypt, even the tip of Israel and Jordan. no interest whatsoever to travel to KSA (of course this is just my view to each their own.
