Yes, you can, that's the beauty of it. It seems that

Jainzar have more experience with Curve and Aktia, maybe they can chime in.
For me the best use for Curve seems to be the better FX rates and the free ATM withdrawals. The much taunted "it works as a debit card towards the vendor" bit seems to be a nothingburger in FIN - if a merchant accepts card payments, he's not interested if it's a credit or debit card (except P2P payments in mobile pay) I don't really use P2P mobile pay, but the card seems to work there, too.
Caveat - Curve and Amex doesn't play together, if the reviews are to be believed.
