HSV-EDI (R/T) Delta One Up $2800-$3000 for 10/20-30 Today?
What am I missing?

This went up ~$2800 today from $4800+ to $7600+

10/29? ~$4800
10/30? ~$7800
10/31? ~$4800

That's not a typo.

What's happening to make 10/30 such an expensive bump for a return leg?

There's nothing magic about returning 10/30 or 10/31 - just an extra hotel night - but thought it very odd.
