In 2019 a companion traveller had her large Rimowa damaged on a LAX-HKG-MNL flight
Tickets were First

CX quickly reimbursed a new Rimowa (identical size and style) in Manila.

Do not recall the procedure but it was smooth. They really destroyed the case.
