Sorry if OT. I had settled on the Marriott Marquis for 3 nights in Aug at CNY 3500 a.i. I would get breakfast, lounge access. Lately, I have seen the Fairmont Peace for CNY 7000 a.i. including breakfast, but not lounge.

Considering it's our first (and perhaps only) time in Shanghai and the latter being an iconic property, would it be worth splurging?
