Just receive the member letter in Chinese, some parts are really interesting for me.
- In the next three years, there will be new lounges in PEK/JFK/HKG
- DM's free wifi is testing now. Hopefully, soon free wifi for DM will be realized soon.
- It said, in some routes, CX expects to have one more CC in the flight for a better service. Hopefully, it can make the long haul Biz class service better..... .after the huge loss for the hedge....
Looks like we can look forward to a new lounge style in Hong Kong! Hopefully it will be a different look, after all the Pier style is not outdated but in fact it is almost 20 years old. I'm guessing the new lounge will be located in the former Bridge or maybe in a new building? I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm not looking forward to the PEK, it's an outstation after all, and it would be nice to see a the same quality to PVG.
JFK has opened a lot of new lounges after Covid, and the recent opening of Delta One has people wanting to come and see Woohoo! But for me, don't get your hopes up too high for the North American lounges.
I think the best OW lounge in North America is LAX's QF First Class, which can beat all AA Flagships, just my opinion.....
JFK's Chelsea is also very good, but the entry threshold is too high, only AA's CK or BA's GGL can get in. It's a great honor to have these two memberships ......
Lastly, I think the best part is that I'm looking forward to Cathay Pacific putting in an extra crew member on their long haul routes so that the service can be better ..... This has been going on since 2018 after the huge loss for the hedge... ..... I hope it will come true .....
