That could be the problem. Amex's system does not look at the description, but at the code used by the merchant, and Sertifi is not a hotel. If you click to expand the transaction there will be additional information (in a browser, not in the Amex app), including a link mark Additional Information, which may just be a string of numerals, but sometimes tell us something useful.
