I am travelling to the USA next week, from Zurich via LHR (in case that matters). I've just got a message entitled "Action required before you travel to the USA". I click through to MMB, and it says further information is required for the passenger (me). I then click through, and it says all information is completed. I enter my passport number, and it is missing the address of the hotel I am staying at. So I supply the address of the hotel, and I get a nice green tick saying information complete. Back to MMB and it says further information is required for the passenger, rinse and repeat. I've seen many failure modes of this form, but not this particular one. Should I be worried about this given the email says:
We’re required to collect information from all passengers, including children under the age of 2, before boarding and provide this to the US authorities for contact tracing. This includes:- full name
- address while in the US
- primary phone number
- secondary or emergency contact phone number
- and email address
You must add these details accurately in Manage My Booking, and reconfirm the information is correct within 72 hours of departure.
There are penalties for failing to do so.
I'd really prefer not to spend time on line the GGL folks if possible, but then I also don't want to be arguing the toss at the boarding gate super early one morning next week.
Or is there some hack to get around this?
