Wondering if there are any recent experiences? I have a trip to Munich coming up for a reasonably long stay and wondering whether I should book HGI over one of the Hamptons. I too generally prefer HGI (breakfast much better in general) but I have never stayed at any of the lower end Munich hotels.

Given the reports above it sounds very positive and mostly the new HGIs in the UK are really good properties.

Ideally I would stay at the Hilton City but the rates are much higher and redemption is 70k/night there which leaves me far too short for other travel plans!!!
