So if the property cannot upgrade your entire stay but offers one for a portion is that bad form? I had suite nights attached originally. It seems like they should have been able to offer to take less than five up front and gotten something for the effort.
That’s not how it works. The hotel does not process the NUAs. What you’re suggesting is fraught with peril. What would happen if they had a suite available for first 3 nights but not last 2? What if a suite was available on nights 1, 4 and 5? Can you imagine the complaints?
There have been lots of complaints on FT but I’ve never heard of anyone complaining because they were offered a free suite upgrade partway through their stay. If you don’t want it, I suggest you politely decline.
