I think airlines’ case against leg skipping is pretty strong. The deal one makes when purchasing a ticket from AAA to CCC via BBB is to fly that routing. No option is provided in contract for just flying AAA to BBB.The parties can mutually agree to alter that routing contract, but neither can unilaterally change it w/o potential consequences as the contract is broken.
