Advice for short connection

Hi all,

Quite unfamiliar with FCO beyond its general layout, and a very tight (50 minute) connection coming up, BEY-FCO-Schengen.

This is a T3 arrival then departing from T1 (which I believe are 'connected' - my last semi-regular stints through FCO were in the year or two after the fire). Aware that I will need to go through passport control and security (in what order?).

Questions are:
- likely to have any busses involved? This is an ME A330 arriving 09:40 connecting to AZ (A320).
- is it a remotely doable connection, if everything is more or less on time? Thinking particularly about potential queues at passports (UK with residence permit, so presumably no e-gates) / security.
- if it's missed, considering the airline change, what's best? For starters - where are the airline transfer desks? Are there some after security / passport control, in case I make it that far but miss it at the last minute?

Thank you!
